Some years ago Evelyn, Mary Vann, John and I went in together and purchase about 10 acres of land on the side of Bluff Mountain NC. This mountain was developed back in the days where they were trying to dam the New River in the hopes that development would take off in NW North Carolina. Well it was not and it did not at that time. The road to the property is developed right up to the edge of the property and at that point it goes into the trees and is just an old log road. Back in September of 2004 Evelyn, Anna and I took off on a trek to find the property and did. Here are some pictures of that trek. (You can click on them to see a larger version).
