September 11^th and September 12^th

Here is 2004 edition of the Emerald Express Bicycle Team. Left to right are David Sakell, Zach Cox, Laviece Ward, and John Tracy. (David a I are not really taller than the rest of the team we are just standing on the curb.) On Saturday Laviece and I rode the 75 mile loop together while John and David were on the 111 mile loop. On Sunday John and I rode the 75 mile loop together while David was on the 101 mile loop. The official mileage for Saturday was 100 miles but David and John managed to find an extra 11 miles out in the wilds of Craven County somewhere. After it was all said and done David got in an 'official' Double-Century ride!  Congratulations David!
