This summer was my father, Zach D. Cox's 80th birthday. We had a grand time at the beach over the week of the 4th of July and lots of extended family came. The first three pictures below were all taken one day that week. Later in the summer Evelyn and I took the kids to the Nantahala Outdoor Center for three days of white water rafting, hiking the Appalacian Trail, and visting Evelyn's sister Jane up in Boon. The last two pictures were taken by the NOC folks as our rafts went over the last rapid before getting to the take out point. It is also the biggest rapid.
