Sunday With James And Music - Program And Signature Page

James nailed all the numbers he had prepared. I liked the Ginastera number the best. I think if Alberto had been there he would have lept to his feet at the end of that number with the rest of us. After the concert I was talking to James's professor, who has been his piano teacher since he was in high school. I think he likes James's playing as much as I do. What a weekend! I think Mary and Baxter have some wonderful sons. The youngest Zach also plays. I asked Zach what he was playing and he said the cello, piano, and recorder. I asked him which he liked better, wind, strings, or keyboard. He said that a piano has strings and a keyboard, and an organ has a keyboard and wind so you could not really seperate them all out. I also overheard Zach saying to his brother, "You are almost a good as I am." I expect that boasting by younger siblings has a way of coming true. All I can say for sure is to keep an eye on those Smith boys, what a wonderful bunch they are!
