Beautiful ride, georgus weather, camping tonight outside. Saw lots of evidence of Hurrican Floyds effects. Got into a fast pace line and one of the riders chased down a guy who took a wrong turn. Saw the local middle school "show-choir" and a barber shop quartet. John and Jane have an extra room at Blackbeard's Inn that George was going to use and they have offered it to me. I'll need to ride the ferry over to Ocrakcoke on Friday night. When I arrived in Washington I took a shower, setup my tent and rode over to WallMart to get a backpack so I could pack up some stuff to take on the Ferry ride with me.
