This was the last day. The bus ride from Manteo to Asheboro completed the second time in two weeks I went from one end of North Carolina to the other in the last two week. One trip was by bus on half day tirps and the other was a two week bike ride. The morning of the bus ride to Asheboro was really raining from Hurricane Irene, we had a final catered breakfast, turned our pedals around and tucked our handle bars under the top tubes, loaded up our bikes, put our luggage in the buses an zoom we were off to Asheboro. I took a nice long nap and woke up in time to see Randolph Mall. We unloaded the bikes and Gregory and I loaded our bikes in the Ford Escort for one last ride back to Raleigh. What a tour!
