Nice ride. Saw the first gold mine in North America built by Europeans. Stopped at a really nice old town called Gold Hill and took some pictures. That's my bike leaning up against the telephone pole. The last bit of the ride seemed to replay the ride up to this point. Was interviewed by the local paper. Rob Gage found a copy and sent it to me. Here is what it looks like. When I got to the YMCA in Asheboro I took a shower met up with Gregory Scott and we loaded our bikes into the Escort and headed to Raleigh to sleep in our own beds that night.
