I left Asheboro and drove home Saturday PM. Gregory Scott rode with me. I got to spend Sat PM at home with the family. I was able to wash my cloths and to unload some of the junk from my two bags and make things a bit lighter. On Sunday I even had time to go to Robert's soccer game. It was raining when we drove back on Sunday afternoon. I did "gym-camping" for the first time that night before leaving for Hillsboro. When the ride was over my cousin Rob Gage sent me this newspaper clipping (two pages) from the Asheboro paper. I remember the lady coming up to me and Scott as we were loading our bikes into the Escort getting ready to go back to Raleigh.
